Man Kills Wife Of 33 Years After Accusing Her Of Cheating On Facebook

A man shot and killed his wife of 33 years and attempted to commit suicide in front of their two grandchildren a week after he took to Facebook to accuse his wife of cheating.

According to the Daily Mail, Eddie Harris allegedly shot and killed his high school sweetheart, Shanica Harris, inside of their Liberty home on Saturday, September 28. Friends and family said the couple had been together since they were 15 and shared five children and multiple grandchildren.

Last week, Harris shared subliminal posts about his wife possibly cheating on him. On the day of the murder, Eddie posted on Facebook that Shanica brought one of her boyfriends to their home.

Miami-Dade police said in a statement that Eddie Harris had a rifle in his hand when he had a stand-off against SWAT officers. The two grandchildren, aged 6 and 9, who witnessed their grandmother’s death, were escorted out of the home by Special Response Team members. The children were unharmed. Upon entering the home, investigators found Shanica’s body and Eddie suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after his stand off with police.

Eddie was transported to the Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center for treatment. His condition is currently unclear.

Before her death, Shanica thanked her husband for buying a new silver Mercedes Benz but complained about the color.

Shanica’s sister, Thomasina Goddard, said Harris was very controlling and endangered the safety of his grandchildren.

Thomasina said: He barricaded himself in the house and kept my sister at blood death, with my grandniece and grandnephew in the house. My sister was the sweetest girl you would’ve know. She worked very hard for her kids and family”

Exclusive investigations have uncovered the decidedly heavy financial commitment involved in getting self-professed African Giant, Burna Boy for live performances.

To get the Afro-Fusion artiste, a potential event organizer has to cough out

The private jet will be required for events outside Lagos.

In the course of the exclusive report, our correspondent had reached out to the management of the artiste. The enquiries which centred on booking the artiste for an upcoming event, was conducted via phone.

Initially, the lady whom our correspondent spoke with had expressed reluctance to provide details. However, when pressed, she disclosed that Burna Boy will require a performance fee of N15m.

This is in addition to a standard requirement of a private jet which will convey him, if the gig in question, is to be hosted outside Lagos.

Furthermore, the management confirmed that his performance will definitely rise above the N15m mark towards year-end and month of December.

Specifically, the enquiries had been carried out in August 2019.

Indeed, December is generally regarded as the peak period for Nigeria’s star artistes.

In addition to a heavy line-up of corporate year-end parties and award nights, a number of entertainment companies and other brands often target the prevailing mood of revelry that accompanies the period to stage concerts.

Fireboy Meets His Youngest Fans Ever

It’s been a truly meteoric rise for Fireboy.

Earlier this year he signed his first record deal with YBNL, a few weeks later he released his first single and that one song changed his life.

He is, however, no one-hit-wonder as he’s shown this with his two follow up songs – “King” and “W.I.I.S”. The latter has already racked up over a million views on youtube and the former is quickly climbing up the charts. India Deports A Nigerian Man For Cyber-Crime And Overstaying His Visa

Indian authorities have deported a Nigerian who was charged and booked for cybercrime offence, while also overstaying his visa.

The Nigerian, identified as Valentine Kevin was deported on Friday, September 27th with a flight coming to Lagos. He arrived India in 2014 on a medical visa but after his visa expired, he stayed put in the country, living in Hyderabad. In August he was arrested by Cyberadad police as a suspect in a fraud case.

The case led to his being handed over to the Indian immigration department.

Security Personnel Beat Oride Operator To Death For Overtaking Them

There was chaos on Friday, in Surulere, Lagos, as an Oride operator was beaten to death by some security officers.

According to eyewitness says, the officers accused the deceased of allegedly overtaking them in traffic. .

In the course of assaulting him, they used a material to hit him on the head, thus making him lose consciousness.

However, passersby descended on the officers and nearly beat them to death before forcing them to carry the victim to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead.

An Australian pregnant woman who fell out of a moving car has died from her injuries after giving birth.

Mum-of-two Helena Broadbent was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after she fell from a moving car in Kiwi Retreat, a suburb in Melbourne, Australia.

The 32-year-old sustained life-threatening injuries during the fall and was airlifted to hospital where she delivered her baby via emergency cesarean.

She died a short time after.

The infant was transferred to Royal Women’s Hospital and remains in critical condition.

Police believe that a 35-year-old man known to Ms Broadbent had threatened to assault her before she fell from the moving car.

According to neighbour Ivan Sucic, a man left Ms Broadbent and her partner’s house before he “jumped in the car, slammed the door when he went in.”

He said he heard the pregnant woman scream, and assumed it was at the same man.

Minutes later, he saw the couple’s two daughters standing out the front of the home and a man in a dark hoodie running form the scene.

The two girls are reportedly staying with their grandmother.
